The day was pretty ordinary. Well, except for the part where it was awesome! (gosh I'm just too cool.)
It started with PE. We had to go outside which caused my elf-like - they're not even nilbog-like - ears to go numb. Overall, it was quite fun. We spent break and English preparing the posters for the harvest festival and then came lunch. As usual, lunch was awesome! I went outside to hang out with Iiris, Maria M., Maria T. and Adelaide. I took loads of photos, after which Adelaide stole my camera which caused me to attempt to go piggie-backing on Adelaide. But at the last second, she ducked and I landed flat on my butt. Needless to say, ouch. After a few more lessons it was time for the harvest festival :]
We came in and set up the 5kg of stuff on 3 tables (one of which was stolen from another group). Our best selling items? Adelaide's flapjacks and brownies (man, those were delicious...), spring rolls, Jasmina's Panookies (pancake/cookies :)) and, of course, Linda's face painting. I advertised our stall, took awesome pictures of teachers hit in the face (or body, due our lack of accuracy) with soaking wet sponges, or watched the unbelievable rate at which Michael Th.'s cupcakes were sold (even though they were such a rip-off). Afterwards, I met up with Olivia (who came back for a week, since she has her half-terms before us) and we watched 'Eat, pray and love'. It was not as great as I was told but it was pretty cute :] Afterwards, I went to Linda's house where I tried to master the labyrinth game, ate about 20 jelly beans and simply messed around. Actually, I almost killed a child. You know, one of those running things? Well, I was running on it (don't as why) when these two little kids climbed on behind me. I told them to get off, but they just wouldn't leave! Then one of the kids fell off and DIED! Well, not died. But she got like a scratch...
Yesterday (Saturday, for you confused followers.. assuming it is in fact plural) I spent like 1h30 sitting on the roof (I know! How awesome is it that I can do that? Though it's not as comfy as it looks in all those American movies, where the kid sulks on the roof, etc. In fact, my butt was numb by the time I got off) doodling and listening to my iPod. Of course, since it's a (very annoying) habit of mine, I sang along. And I swear, this woman started walking faster when she heard my singing. Maybe I shouldn't sing in public.. or at all.
As for today (Sunday.. duh), I woke up at 10am for some strange reason and had some breakfast. After that (and some maths.. I know, I do maths on weekends. I'm lame. Deal with it), Linda picked me up and after some unsuccesful shoe-shopping, we went to watch 'RED'. One of my favourite quotes:
-So what are you gonna do, Frank?
-Kill the vice-president.. What about you?
Hahaa :] For those of you guys who haven't watched it, it's epic! Anyway, afterwards, me, Linda and Ola (whom I forgot to mention... but she was watching the movie with us) had some sushi. Which was pretty good.. I mean, I had better. Then came the dessert. It was awemazing! It was like maki, but the wrapping was chocolate and inside were melon and kiwi.. and with this cream sauce... Mann, it was like being in heaven... Mmmmh, food..
those brownies in the festival sound good, way to not prevent an innocent child from being scratched, im sure you could have dove and saved his life :] You should post a video of you singing so we can all judge on your amazing singing skills, and yes i bet you have an incredible singing voice. seen the movie too, Freeman and Willis make an EPIC team :D
